A devout Collinsville High School sports worker and fan lived in the home and lost everything he owned, except the clothes he had taken with him on an out of town trip. No one was injured in the fire.

Kettler can be found evenings and weekends working as the public address announcer for many lady Kahok sports and is a basketball statistician. When not working, he is usually attending a game or working for kahoksport.com.

Members of the Kahok sports family are now rallying around Chris Kettler. Assistant Athletic Director Clay Smith contacted booster clubs and friends of Kahok athletics, seeking help, as soon as he heard the news about Kettler’s home.

The CHS athletic department is taking donations to buy Kettler a gift card to get him back on his feet. Contributions can be made by contacting Clay Smith at 346-6336 extension 1231.
