A Caseyville man was charged Thursday with felony theft of metal, lawn care equipment and construction material.

Caseyville police were called to the 7000 block of Forest Boulevard on Nov. 9 about the stolen equipment. Larry G. Rhew Jr, 41, of the 300 block of Lockner Lane was later identified as a suspect and charges were filed on Dec. 4.
Bond for Rhew was set at $40,000. He is currently held in the St. Clair County jail.
