Explore the many different strategies for achieving energy efficiency in your buildings at a free energy efficiency workshop.

Building owners, operators and managers are encouraged to attend the event on Friday, Nov. 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Southwestern Illinois College Belleville Campus, 2500 Carlyle Ave.

Find out about incentives and new technologies on the market. Discuss creative ways to reduce the risk and cost of projects, and learn how to maintain, upgrade and retro-commission your building.

The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity gives “bonus coupons” of up to 15 percent on an energy efficiency project to a public entity if a member has attended a Smart Energy Design Assistance Center workshop.
