Home Federal Savings & Loan is teaming up with the Greater Gateway Association of REALTORS® to present a free seminar on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 designed to better educate anyone considering a future sale or purchase of a home.
The event is open to the public as a community service and will include presentations from local industry experts on essential topics including:
- Staging a home to sell
- Considerations and budgeting for purchases
- Appraisals
- Inspections
- Choosing a realtor
- Relocation assistance
- Mortgage loans, credit scores and what to know before applying for a loan
- Overview of the local real estate market
The seminar will be held from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Home Federal’s headquarters, 100 E. Clay Street in Uptown Collinsville.
Hot dogs, snacks and soft drinks will be served. Reservations are encouraged but not required, and can be made by calling 618-345-1121.
