The Collinsville High School boys soccer team was to have played its third game of the season Tuesday, against Belleville West. Instead, the team is still waiting to take the pitch to begin the 2014 season.

Heavy rain overnight Monday made Oerter Park in Columbia, Ill. unplayable. The park is the site of Belleville West home matches while new field turf is installed at the school.

A makeup date has not yet been determined.

The Kahoks’ fourth attempt to begin their season will be at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday against Highland. If played, the contest will take place at Glik Park in Highland.

A makeup date for the scheduled Aug. 27 match against Althoff has also yet to be determined.
