Curtain’s Up Theater Company (CUTC) will perform the stage version of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” at the historic Wildey Theater, 252 N. Main Street, Edwardsville, IL.

The play will be performed ONE DAY ONLY at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23. Tickets are $10. Tickets will be sold through the Wildey box office only or online at www.wildeytheatre.com.  The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.

The Herdmans are the worst kids in the history of the world. They lie; they steal lunches, smoke cigars, and terrorize their classmates.  After learning that, if you go to Sunday school, you can get all the candy and treats you want, they decide this Sunday school thing isn’t such a bad idea.

No one was prepared when this outlaw family invades church one Sunday just in time to take over the annual Christmas pageant play. None of the Herdmans had ever heard the Christmas story before and their interpretation of the tale has the townspeople up in arms.  But it will make this year’s pageant the most unusual anyone has seen and just possibly The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

This tale will touch your heart when the true meaning of Christmas enters the Herdsman’s young hearts.

Come celebrate the first production Curtain’s Up Theater Company began with ten years ago. Reserve your tickets early.  This show runs for one day only, two performances.

Start your Christmas season with this seasonal favorite.
