The Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2200 block of Miracle Avenue in rural Granite City Oct. 12 after receiving a 911 call about underage drinking at the home.  After meeting with those in the residence, the report was determined to be false, police said.

Deputies then searched for Jennifer Richter, 39, who lives in the home and placed the call, police said. They found her walking in the roadway, intoxicated.

Richter was taken into custody for making a false 911 report. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office arrested her previously for making similar false 911 reports on Sept. 2 and Sept. 5.

Richter was charged with felony disorderly conduct. Her bail was set at $10,000.
