The $750,000 grand-prize winning ticket in Saturday’s Lucky Day Lotto drawing was sold at the gas station and convenience store at 2233 Vandalia. The winner, Illinois Lottery officials say, has yet to claim the prize.

The winner matched all five numbers – 02 – 03 – 12 – 20 – 29 – in the Saturday evening drawing. The winning ticket is the second major winner sold in Collinsville in 2014. A million dollar ticket for the Illinois Lottery’s St. Patrick’s Day Raffle was sold at the Moto Mart on Illinois Route 157 in Collinsville.

Saturday’s winner is the first big winner since the new Lucky Day Lotto changes took effect July 13. Lucky Day Lotto drawings are twice a day, seven days a week and now offer bigger and better prizes for the same price, with the same draw times.
