The Collinsville Junior Service Club will host a silent auction and chicken and beer dance fundraiser Saturday, Jan. 25. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
The funds raised at the event will support the Junior Service Club’s charitable activities in the community. The club provides food baskets, clothes and toys to approximately 50 needy children in the Collinsville school district each year. It also provides college scholarships to young ladies in need, supports local food pantries, the soup kitchen, Illinois Center for Autism and supports other area organizations.
Tickets are $20 and include chicken and six beer tickets. Admission is $25 at the door. The chicken and beer dance will be held from 6-11 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Collinsville VFW.
