Collinsville police announced Friday that two suspects were taken into custody for the July 29, burglary of the Collinsville American Legion.

The Madison County State’s Attorney’s office issued felony burglary warrants on Aug. 27 for Stacy A. Geromiller and Bradley D. Seyler, both of Collinsville, and Steven M. Dodson, of Troy. Geromiller and Seyler have been arrested. Dodson is at large.

A “large amount” of cash was taken and significant damage was done to the interior of the building during the burglary, police reported. The Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit assisted with the investigation.

Investigators believe there are more suspects. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crimstoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477) or Detective Mark Kuechle at 618-346-5200.
