If you are looking for a new job or would like service agency information targeted specifically for veterans, then attend the Veterans Job Fair at Southwestern Illinois College. The fair runs from 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Nov. 5 in the SWIC Belleville Campus Varsity Gym, 2500 Carlyle Ave.

“The fair is focused on veterans, but all individuals are welcome,” said Bonnie Heuer, Career Center and Veterans Services coordinator.

“We will have more than 100 employers and service providers at the fair.”

Individuals should arrive dressed to impress with plenty of copies of their résumés, she added.

The event is a partnership between SWIC Veteran & Career Services center and the Illinois Department of Employment Security.’
