Sporting higher ceilings, improved lighting and environmentally friendly building materials, the ALDI at 1716 Vandalia St. in Collinsville will re-open to the public on Nov. 1, the company announced.
The store, which closed for remodeling on Oct. 13, will offer a simple and easy-to-navigate shopping experience, a company spokesperson said. Energy-saving refrigeration and light bulbs make the remodeled store more environmentally friendly.
The Collinsville location is one of three in the St. Louis area to get a new look. Remodeled stores in St. Peters, Mo., and Maplewood, Mo., will also reopen on Nov. 1.
ALDI has nearly 1,300 stores located in 32 states. Over the last several years, ALDI has added, on average, 80 new stores each year. The Collinsville store will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. ALDI accepts cash, debit and EBT/Quest cards.
