Devin Smith, a 2014 Collinsville High School graduate, recently won first place in the Poetry Division of the Friends of Lovejoy Library High School Writer’s Contest.

Smith submitted his winning entry during the 2013-2014 school year. The contest, coordinated by Lovejoy Library, on the campus to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, is open to high school juniors and seniors from Bond, Calhoun, Clinton, Greene, Jersey, Macoupin, Madison, Monroe, Montgomery, St. Clair and Washington counties.
