Thousands of people are expected to attend the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Southwest Illinois’ Fall Home Show.
Attendees can learn about the newest home improvement products and techniques from local building industry professionals. With local companies displaying everything from awnings, cabinetry, energy efficiencies, exterior remodeling, landscaping, roofing, spas, waterproofing and much more.
The Home Show is every homeowner’s dream, event chairman Jeff Schmidt said.
The Home Show allows you to walk around at your own pace in a comfortable environment and talk to professionals one-on-one while viewing their product first hand. A Fall Home Show Guide will be given to every attendee. Attendees can also find use the interactive floor plan (http://www.expocad.com/host/fx/hbail/14fall/default.html) to find where each professional is located.
Receive a $1 admission discount by bringing in a canned good to benefit the Collinsville Area Food Pantry. HBA is also extending $1 off admission to seniors 65 and older, firefighters, police officers, military personnel, medical professionals and education faculty.
Organizers hope everyone who leaves will be inspired and excited about the possibilities they can do with their homes, inside and out.
The HBA Fall Home Show will be held at the Gateway Center, off Illinois Route 157 in Collinsville. Hours are Friday Sept. 12, from 4 – 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m, and Sunday, Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
