Prepare for the U.S. Citizenship (naturalization) process and its examination through tuition-free Southwestern Illinois College Adult Basic Education Citizenship classes.
This class is open to legal permanent residents of Illinois who are considering U.S. citizenship.
A class will be at the SWIC Belleville Campus, 2500 Carlyle Ave., in September. Individuals will meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings from Tuesday, Sept. 9 through Tuesday, Sept. 23. Class runs from 6-8:50 p.m.
Other upcoming Citizenship offerings include workshops in October at various sites in the district:
• Fairmont City Library – Saturday, Oct. 4 from 9-11:50 a.m.
• SWIC Sam Wolf Granite City Campus – Saturday, Oct. 18 from 9-11:50 a.m
• SWIC Belleville Campus Saturday – Saturday, Oct. 25 from 9-11:50 a.m.
