Jeff Cain has joined the law firm of Cadagin & Cain, P.C., located at 1518 Vandalia in Collinsville.

Cain and his wife, the former Rita Roedger, reside in Maryville.  He graduated from Collinsville High School in 1979, where he was a member of the National Honor Society.

Cain received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Louis University, magna cum laude, in 1983, at which time he was also presented with the Don O. Pyke Award for scholastic achievement by the Advertising Club of Greater St. Louis. He received his juris doctorate degree, cum laude, from St. Louis University in 1986, where he was 7th in his graduating class and named to the law school honor society.

For the past 27 years, Cain was with the prestigious Belleville law firm of Freeark, Harvey, and Mendillo, P.C., where he was a shareholder, while continuing to reside in Collinsville/Maryville.

Cain expressed a desire to return to his home community to continue his practice, along with his father, Richard R. Cain, and brother, Richard R. Cain, Jr.  Cain also expressed a desire to become more active in the community, such as continuing the family involvement in the noon Lions Club, which began with his grandfather, Raymond Cain of Cain Bros. Lumber Co.
