The Collinsville High School Dance team has announced its summer junior camp will take place July 28 to August 1.

All girls entering grades K-8 are welcome to participate and will be instructed by the Kahok Dance Team Varsity and Junior Varsity Squads. The program is designed to help improve skills in basic dance technique. The program will benefit girls in the development of many fundamentals of dancing, whether they are interested in being on a high school or professional dance team, or just want to have fun.
The girls will be divided into groups based on age/grade level in school. Each group will be taught a routine designed to cover one or more of the basic skills. Squad members will work with the girls on memorization and technique. Price includes a camp shirt and a daily snack. On the final day of Camp, parents will be invited to attend a program showcasing the dances the campers have learned. All camp participants will be invited to perform at half-time of the first CHS Varsity Football Game. Game time is 7:00 pm on Friday, August 29, 2014.
The camp will be at the Webster School gymnasium from 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. each day. Cost if $55 for those who register in advance and $60 at the door.
