On Sunday, June 1, the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Collinsville will host its first ever Bark For Life fundraiser at Woodland Park from 12 – 2 p.m.
Bark For Life is a Relay For Life fundraising event that honors the caregiving qualities of canine companions. This event will include a walk your owner trail, pet agility course, doggy smooch booth, vendors, and more. Bark For Life fundraisers help to support the mission of the American Cancer Society by raising funds to bring us closer to a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
To learn more about Bark For Life and register your dog for this great event visit relayforlife.org/barkcollinsvilleil. Cost is $15 for one dog or $20 for two dogs, if registration is received by May 31. Registration on June 1 is $25 for one dog and $30 for two. All dogs must be registered and will receive a Bark For Life Bandana.
The 2014 Relay For Life of Collinsville will take place on June 13 at Collinsville Middle School beginning at 6 p.m. The American Cancer Society is always looking for volunteers and local businesses to help recruit fundraising teams, garner community support, and lend a hand to ensure the success of the 2014 Relay For Life of Collinsville. Cancer survivors, caregivers, community leaders, and all wanting to make a difference are invited to participate.
