EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Head Coach Scott Donnelly and the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville men’s soccer program have announced five separate camps to be held this spring and summer at Korte Stadium.
The Elite Prospect ID Camp will be a one-day spring camp on April 7. The camp will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and will be open to boys high school players aspiring to play at the next level. It also will allow players to gain exposure in front of college coaches, with technical training, speed training, and full-sided games all part of the day’s curriculum.
On June 9-12, SIUE will host the Cougars Day Camp for younger players looking to develop their skills.
The Cougars Day Camp is a four-day camp open to boys players ages 6-12. Each day of camp will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., featuring training sessions, small-sided games, and skills competitions.
The Cougars also will offer their residential camps during July 9-12.
The Boys Team Camp will be held July 9-11, hosting boys high school and club teams with players ages 14-18. Teams of at least 14 players are recommended but not required. Team coaches can attend the camp free of charge and will take on a supervisory role during training sessions.
Lastly, both a Junior and Senior Academy Residential Camp will be offered from July 9-12. The Junior camp is open to boys players ages 10-13, while the Senior camp welcomes players ages 14-18. Coaches from the professional, college, club, and high school ranks will be on hand to provide campers with an elite level of training over the four-day period.
