Two members of the Collinsville High School basketball team were honored recently by the Southwestern Conference.
Junior center Emondre Rickman was named second-team All-Conference and junior guard Anfirnee Wilkinson was named third-team All-Conference. The pair were also recently named co-MVPs for the Kahoks.
Rickman’s 40 blocked shots in conference play led the league by 12. He blocked 80 shots on the season, averaged 7.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Rickman’s play improved against conference opponents, averaging 8.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per contest. His rebounding average was good for fifth best in the conference.
Wilkinson averaged 13.5 points per game during the 2013-2014 season, to lead the Kahoks. His 12.7 points per game during conference play was good for eighth-best and his 22 3-pointers were sixth-best. Wilkinson made 47 total 3-pointers on the year, shooting 37 percent from beyond the arc.
