Caseyville Police are asking for help locating a man charged with domestic battery and resisting a peace officer.

Mark A. Cline, 25, of the 400 block of South 7th Street, Caseyville is accused of battering a woman at his residence in the early morning hours of March 19. The victim was able to escape the residence and call police. She was treated for her injuries at Belleville Memorial Hospital and released.

Cline was held after the incident, but had to be released because charges were not filed within 48 hours. Police suspect he may be hiding in State Park, Detective Gerard Spratt said.
