The International Horseradish Festival is known for its horseradish root-related contests and live music, but there is another side to the fest — crafts.
“Each year, the festival committee works to create a diverse craft village for visitors to enjoy,” said festival spokesperson Elizabeth Davis. “This year, we’re hoping to focus on local artists and really showcase the talent found in the Metro East and St. Louis regions.”
Those looking to participate in the craft village at the International Horseradish Festival on June 6-8 must submit an application that gives the details of their items for sale. Craft vendor items must be home-made or unique. Mass produced or re-sale items are prohibited.
The fee to participate is $75 for a 10×10 space, $150 for a 10×20 space, and additional $25 if electricity is required. Vendor applications are due May 1. Applications can be found on the festival website: www.horseradishfestival.com, and through the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce.
