East St. Louis and Edwardsville continued playing dominating football, not letting playoff opponents slow them down.
Edwardsville (10-0) ran up 59 points on Andrew High School (5-5), of Tinley Park, on their way to a 59-28 victory Friday. The biggest surprise in the score was that Andrew was able to manage 28, tied for the most Edwardsville allowed all season. The Tigers squeaked past East St. Louis 29-28 on Sept. 13. The Tigers’ defense yielded 10.3 points per game during the regular season. The offense averaged 43.8.
