New and experienced genealogists are invited to join the History and Genealogy Club of Collinsville.
The club is a friendly group of people who share an interest in genealogy and local history. All are welcome to share findings and resources. Each meeting focuses on a different topic such as immigration or family stories. Meetings are held monthly on the fourth Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Collinsville Memorial Library Center.

Looking for information on my maternal grandfather, Veno Louis Vigna
Born 1876? in Collinsville? May have had brother, Victor and sister Anna. Not sure if other siblings. Father named Frank, mother named Mary-they may have lived in East St. Louis after 1900. Veno coal miner in Beckemeyer, IL. where my mother Dorothy Lucille Vigna born 1915. He seems to have died in Mt. Vernon, IL. during WW II. He had a farm there by this time. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Family tragedy resulted in her n ot knowing much about her father and Italian side of family. Thank you for any help.
