Rachel H. Hood, 26, of Collinsville, and Kristen G. Miller, 21, of Caseyville, were charged Thursday for possession of a less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin, a Class 4 felony. Miller was also charged on Oct. 14 for possession of a controlled substance. She has a pending court date on the Oct. 14 charge.

Both cases were investigated by the Caseyville Police Department. St. Clair County Circuit Clerk records show that Miller’s offense occurred on May 2 and Hoods on May 5. Acting Sergeant Gerard Spratt said the charges were delayed pending lab results.
