Fenton, Mo. – Collinsville played to a 1-1 tie with Rock Bridge (Columbia, Mo.) Monday in the teams’ opening match of the CYC Tournament.

Jordan Smith scored the lone goal for the Kahoks (4-3-1). Smith is now tied with Brett Langley for the team lead in goals (3) and points (7). Tanner Przybysz provided the assist, his second of the season. Rock Bridge moved to 3-7-1.

The match was the first of three matches in three days in group play at the tournament. If CHS advances out of group play, it will play a semifinal match Friday at the Soccer Park in Fenton, Mo.

The Kahoks play the St. Mary’s (St. Louis) Dragons Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. on Field #5 at the soccer park.
