Soccer Clinic Information/Registration Flyer
The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville men’s and women’s soccer programs will host a free clinic for youth players on Friday, Sept. 26 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Korte Stadium.
“We’re excited to welcome the local community to Korte Stadium for an enjoyable day of soccer and interaction with our student-athletes,” SIUE men’s soccer Co-Head Coach David Korn said. “As an athletic department, we always jump at the chance to give back to the surrounding community.”The clinic is open to boys and girls ages 6-13 and welcomes players of all experience levels.Coaches and players from the Cougar men’s and women’s soccer teams will oversee the clinic, which features various technical activities as well as small-sided games.
“Our student-athletes and coaching staffs are looking forward to a fun-filled evening,” SIUE women’s soccer Head Coach Derek Burton added. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with the youth soccer community and have a blast doing it. It’s going to be a great time.”
In addition to on-field training, a number of giveaways and an autograph session will be available for clinic participants.
