The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department, in conjunction with Federal and Local Fraud Investigators, will be hosting a Fraud Prevention Seminar Wednesday Sept. 24 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

The presentation will be held at 700 N. 5th St. in Belleville.

Topics will include ID theft – how to spot it, obtaining your free credit report, “skimming” (what to look for), how to spot telephone fraud and an overview of cyber crimes.

Presentations and information will be provided by the IRS, a United States postal inspector and FCB fraud investigators.

Door prizes will be awarded and light refreshments served. Seating is limited.
