Preventing financial exploitation and a presentation from a martial arts school are on the agenda for a free elder abuse prevention conference Friday in Alton.
The Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office, Oasis Women’s Center, Senior Services Plus and the 3rd Judicial Circuit Family Violence Prevention Council are teaming to host the event. Liberty Bank will provide a presentation on financial exploitation. Piasa Martial Arts’ presentation is titled, “Victim Prevention Preparedness.”
