A Florissant, Mo. man recently claimed his $1 million Powerball prize less than a month after a Collinsville woman cashed in on a $750,000 winner.

Ron Bryant bought his winning ticket, which matched the first five numbers of the Aug. 2 Powerball winning numbers, at Super One Stop, 3301 West Chain of Rocks Road in Granite City. Brenda Bohn, of Collinsville, bought her July 19 Lucky Day Lotto winning ticket at Circle K, 2233 Vandalia Avenue in Collinsville.

Bohn, who said she has been out of work for a year and has had to spend her savings, plans to use her winnings to pay off debts and invest while searching for a job. Bryant, retired from Chrysler, plans to buy a new house and travel with his wife to New York to visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum.
