Another round of tryouts for the 14/15U and 13U Jr. Kahok baseball teams will take place at 2 p.m. Aug. 24 at Fletcher Field. Only a few spots remain on both teams.

JrKahoksBaseballTryouts are open to all players entering 6th through 9th grade in fall 2014. Incoming 6th and 7th graders will try out for the 13U team and incoming 8th graders and freshman will compete for a spot on the 14/15U team.

The incoming freshman team is coached by Josh Hartle, Collinsville Middle School coach and Collinsville High School assistant coach. The 13U team is coached by Brandon Henson and Kenny Lutz.

The Jr. Kahoks Baseball Organization will focus on preparing players for baseball at the high school level with an emphasis on fundamentals, game situations and what it means to be a Kahok.
