Collinsville, IL –The Collinsville Memorial Library Center is hosting two community services in late August.
On Saturday, Aug. 23 representatives from Madison and St. Clair Counties will be at the library between 10 a.m. and noon to help residents register to vote. Voting is an important responsibility for all citizens; make sure you are ready for the next election. Applicants should bring a state-issued photo ID and know the last four digits of their Social Security number.
Additionally, the American Red Cross will be at the library on Monday, Aug. 25 from 2 to 6 p.m. for a blood drive. The need for donated blood is ongoing and urgent. Every contribution is very important, even life-saving. Go to www.redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-733-2767 to schedule an appointment at this event.
