The Collinsville Police Department announced its intention to conduct another roadside safety check.

The department will check for impaired and unsafe drivers, as well as other violations, on July 2 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. The department conducted a similar check on June 27 as part of increased traffic enforcement between June 25 and July 6.
Collinsville police urge everyone to wear their seat belts, stay off cell phones while driving and designate a sober driver.
