Unable to resist another pairing of the greatest combination since water, barley, hops and yeast were magically mixed together to make beer, the Great Big Idaho® Potato is making a return visit to the World’s Largest Catsup Bottle®.

The six-ton pseudo spud will take up residence at the 170-foot tall Catsup Bottle from 12-5 p.m. Tuesday, July 1. A picture alongside the plywood potato, with the world famous Collinsville landmark in the background, would make for a Christmas card photo that will be the envy of friends and family.

The Great Big Idaho® Potato, measuring in at 28-foot long, 12-foot wide and 11.5-foot tall, is on its third tour of the United States. Each year, it raises awareness for a charity. The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women, which advocates research and education about heart health in women, is this year’s chosen beneficiary.

Judy DeMoisy, spokesperson for World’s Largest Catsup Bottle, Inc, said the event had a great turnout last year, the first time the Catsup Bottle was a stop on the cross-country tour.
