One lane of eastbound Interstate 270, at the Chain of Rocks Canal, will be closed beginning at 9 p.m. Wednesday, the Illinois Department of Transportation announced.
The lane closure is scheduled to end by 5 a.m. Thursday and is to allow construction to continue on the new canal bridge.
