The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Monday that the ramp from eastbound Interstate 270 to southbound Interstate 255 will be closed beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 28 through 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, weather permitting.

The closure is necessary to complete pavement patching on the ramp.  The signed detour will be to continue on eastbound Interstate 270 to northbound Illinois Route 157. Then get back on Interstate 270, going westbound, to southbound Interstate 255.
