In the past decade, sports performance has evolved from athletes training to gain a competitive advantage to training to stay ahead of their competition.  The goal at Cougar Performance is to provide local athletes with the opportunity to enhance their athletic performance through our systematic approach to training in a state-of-the-art facility.

Cougar Performance offers an innovative training approach focusing on building a strong athletic foundation while focusing on each athlete’s individual goals. The program puts a strong emphasis on movement training, explosive power development, foot speed and agility, linear and lateral acceleration, proper resistance training techniques, functional strength, and injury reduction.

SIUE’s professional staff ensures not only a challenging workout, but places a high priority on maintaining a safe and fun learning environment.  Cougar Performance will provide two separate training camps this summer, the first beginning June 2nd, and the second beginning July 7th.  Both camps have various training options to accommodate your busy summer schedule.

To learn more or to register, go to SIUEPerformance.com. Contact Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Meade Smith at brendsm@siue.edu with any general or specific questions regarding the camp.
