Boil order announced for Wednesday in Collinsville

The City of Collinsville has announced that water will be shut off for some residents at 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, and a boil order will be in effect for 24-48 hours.

Water service is expected to be restored in about six hours. Green tags, stating the boil order has been lifted, will be placed on the doors of affected residences when the order is no longer in effect.

Water to be used for cooking or drinking should be brought to a full, rolling boil for five minutes.

 

Affected addresses are:

– 356, 358, 405, 407, 411, 412, 415, 419, 420, 422, 423, 424, 426, 427, 431 and 436 N. Aurora Street

– 310A&B, 400, 404, 408, 409, 412, 413, 416, 434, 501, 503, 505 and 507 E. Wickliffe Avenue

– 408, 412, 414, 415, 416, 419, 420, 422, 423, 424, 425, 427, 428, 432, 433, 437, 438, 439, 440, 442 and 443 Spring Street

– 508, 514, 515A&B, 517, 519, 520, 522, 525, 527, 528, 529, 605, 607, 608, 620, 624, 626, 628, 700, 702, 704 and 706 Autumn Avenue

– 321, 322, 323, 324 and 325 Park Street

– 609 and 611 Laurel Street

– 607, 700 and 702 Vandalia Street

– 800 N. Keebler Ave.

If the work cannot be performed due to bad weather or an emergency, the work will take place on the following day.
