The Trail Blazers also knocked off Triad in the regional, to qualify for State. The volleyball team’s success comes about one month after the boys basketball team made it to the final four at State.

The SIJHSAA State Tournament is a one-day affair. If the Trail Blazers win their first match, they will play again at 12 p.m. The winner of that contest moves on the championship at 3 p.m.

CMS volleyball team members are:

Carlie Schuessler, Shannon Riley, Morgane Ash, Courtney Marten, Rachel Jones, Isabella Tucker, Summer Butterfield, Payten England, Kirsten Zimmerman, Emily Ford, Nicole Jerome, Audrey Fowler,

The coach is Bobbi Burg and the manager is Dayna McGee.
