If you enjoy good reads and good company then the Collinsville Library’s book clubs are just the thing for you! We have two book clubs to choose from.

The Blum House Book Club meets on the last Wednesday of the month from 6:00-7:30pm at the Blum House to discuss books and share experiences. Each month is a new title and everyone is welcome. Upcoming books include March 26 – The Burgess Boys by Eliza Strout, April 30 – Defending Jacob by William Landay, May 28- An Invisible Thread by Laura Schroff, June 25 – And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini, July 30 – Half Broke Horses by Jeanette Walls.

You can also join our Library Staff on Facebook for our MVLD Online Book Club. On our Book Club’s Facebook Page you will find the current selections we are reading. Selections include something for all ages – children, teens, and adult – so that all ages can participate. Read one or all of the selected titles or start a discussion about one of your own. This is truly a book club for book lovers, so “Like” us today and start sharing your reading adventures. For more information please call 618-344-1112.

  1. Thank you so much to the Collinsville Library and The Blum House Book Club for selecting my book, An Invisible Thread. Book clubs have been enormously supportive and I cannot thank you enough. I hope your club will enjoy it! If you should have any questions prior to your discussion I would be happy to make myself available. Please let me know.

    Warmest regards,

    Laura Schroff
