The 8th grade Collinsville Middle School volleyball team won 3 of 5 games on the way to a second place finish at the Highland Tournament.
The Trail Blazers defeated Highland, Mascoutah and Triad. Eventual champion Breese, which finished the tournament undefeated, knocked off CMS. Carlyle also got the better of CMS.
The CMS 8th grade squad is: Paige Altenberger, Morgane Ash, Summer Butterfield, Payten England, Emily Ford, Audrey Fowler, Nicole Jerome, Rachel Jones, Courtney Marten, Shannon Riley, Carley Schuessler and Kirsten Zimmerman. The team is coached by Bobbi Burg.
