Despite a daytime high expected to reach into the low 40s, Metro East commuters can expect freezing rain in the morning hours Monday.
Freezing rain will fall on the area between 7 a.m. and noon, changing to rain after noon, the National Weather Service is predicting. The rain should move out of the area by 4 p.m.
The daytime high is predicted to be 42. Tuesday could reach 57 degrees.
