The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Friday that Illinois Rout 159 will be reduced to one lane of traffic near High School Street in Collinsville from 6 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. Monday.

Two-way traffic will be maintained using flaggers and traffic control devices. This closure is required to install a water main across 159 and is part of the overall project to widen the street.

IDOT also announced that the Martin Luther King Jr. Bridge on-ramp to eastbound Interstate 55/70 will be closed from 7-11 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 1.
